How to Undo an Action

The process for reversing an action is the same for both creators and approvers, and it includes documenting the reason for the recall:

  1. Open the File: Navigate to the file and click to open it.
  2. Initiate the Undo: Click the ‘Undo‘ button located at the bottom right side of the file view. A pop-up will appear prompting you for a reason.
  3. Provide Reason and Revert: In the pop-up, type the reason for recalling or reversing the action, and then click Revert.
  4. Action Reverts and Notifies: The file will immediately revert to its previous status. A notification will also be sent to every other member in the workflow, informing them of the recall and the reason you provided.
  • For Creators: If you have just sent a file for review, clicking Revert will recall the file, changing its status back to the previous state.
  • For Approvers: If you have just requested a revision or approved a file, clicking Revert will reverse that decision, setting the file’s status back to In Review status.
